Raúl Gasque is a Mexican multidisciplinary artist who works with performance, abstract expressionism, photography, and text. His work is a continuous exploration of issues related to storytelling, politics and psychology from a not conventional angle. His life has been an ongoing exploration in different parts of the world; a situation that has stimulated himself to try to explore things from a nonorthodox perspective. He uses the element of fire in the creations. In addition to pigments, Raúl also incorporates and mixed-natural materials, such as beeswax and linseed oil, hoping that the media can be as natural and environmentally friendly as possible. "I don't want my creations to have a negative impact on the environment. In addition to being responsible for addressing the world's problems, artists must also take care of the land we live in, right?"
